Terms of service
ORDERS
Orders placed with A Piece of You Jewelry are subject to product availability. If any item ordered is unavailable, the customer will be notified by email and may choose to wait for the item to be restocked or cancel the order.
The customer acknowledges that automatic order confirmation does not in itself constitute definitive acceptance of their purchase offer. The contract between A Piece of You Jewelry and the customer is only considered concluded when:
The payment for the order has been duly processed, or
The products have been shipped or the services have commenced — the latter being the determining criterion.
At that point, the customer will receive a Shipping Confirmation email, which formalizes the contract and indicates the products or services included.
A Piece of You Jewelry takes all necessary measures to ensure the security of payment information and order data. However, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access by third parties to data provided during the use of the website or at the time of ordering.
Upon delivery of the products to the address indicated, the risk relating to the goods is transferred to the customer. A Piece of You Jewelry is not responsible for errors in the address provided or for failure to collect the products. Responsibility for loss or damage to the items passes to the customer from the moment of delivery.
A Piece of You Jewelry shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations when such failure or delay results from force majeure, i.e., events beyond its control and which cannot reasonably be foreseen.
Such events include, but are not limited to: government actions or omissions, legislative changes, labor disputes, embargoes, fires, floods, sabotage, wars, natural disasters, strikes, failures in transportation or supply services, among others.
Government decisions that negatively affect the market, e-commerce, or the availability of certain products, such as restrictions, prohibitions, or official warnings, are also considered force majeure events.
In such circumstances, A Piece of You Jewelry will be temporarily exempt from fulfilling its contractual obligations until normal conditions are restored.
